The Paradox Return With New Single

The Paradox have released their new single, “I Kinda Like That,” continuing the rapid rise of one of the most exciting new bands in modern pop-punk.

Formed in Atlanta in 2024, the four-piece consists of Eric Dangerfield on vocals and rhythm guitar, Christopher “Xelan” Bernard on lead guitar and vocals, Donald Bryant on bass and Percy “PC3” Crews on drums. Since forming, the band have built a fast-growing audience by combining the energy of early-2000s pop-punk with a sound and identity that feels completely their own. 

“I Kinda Like That” arrived on July 23 following a week of teasing across the band’s social media channels. The track adds another infectious, high-energy release to their catalogue and arrives as The Paradox continue to gain momentum both online and on stage. 

The band’s rise has been remarkably quick. The Paradox only formed in the summer of 2024, but have already played major shows, attracted a substantial online following and established themselves as a fresh presence within the pop-punk scene. Their music draws influence from bands including Green Day, Blink-182, Sum 41 and New Found Glory, while bringing a new generation of fans into the genre. 

The new single also arrives ahead of The Paradox’s first coast-to-coast headline tour, which is scheduled to begin in Dallas on October 14 before visiting cities across the United States. 

With catchy hooks, plenty of personality and a clear love for the genre, The Paradox are continuing to prove that pop-punk is far from finished.
