Halsey Showcases Her Heavier Side in New Concert Film ‘The Girl In The Tower’
Halsey’s new concert film, The Girl In The Tower, showcases her heavier side with rock and alternative performances.
Halsey has put her heavier side firmly in the spotlight with the release of her new concert film, The Girl In The Tower.
Released today, the film brings together footage from Halsey’s recent run of summer festival appearances and live shows, capturing a side of her music that leans considerably further into rock and heavier territory.
One clip in particular shows just how far Halsey is willing to take things live. With heavy guitars behind her, she unleashes some seriously impressive screamed vocals as a mosh pit erupts in the crowd — footage that might come as a surprise to anyone still primarily familiar with her pop material.
It’s also another example of Halsey’s increasingly prominent relationship with alternative and rock music. Rather than simply adding a few guitars to a pop performance, the footage captures an artist who looks completely at home commanding a much heavier live show.
The Girl In The Tower compiles performances from across Halsey’s summer live run and offers fans a closer look at that side of her sound.
The concert film is out now.
