Elder, Russian Circles and Brutus Join ArcTanGent 2027 as Festival Moves to the Cotswolds

ArcTanGent has added Elder, Russian Circles, Brutus and the reformed Kong and SubRosa to its 2027 bill – the festival’s first at its new Gloucestershire home.

ArcTanGent Festival has announced its next wave of acts for 2027, led by Massachusetts rockers Elder, US post-metal band Russian Circles and Belgian three-piece Brutus. The festival runs from 19 to 21 August 2027 at Todenham Manor Farm near Moreton-in-Marsh, with early entry on Wednesday 18 August for four-day ticket holders.

It is the first time in the festival’s history that it has moved site.

Russian Circles and Brutus Co-Headline the Wednesday

Russian Circles and Brutus will co-headline the early-entry Wednesday. Both last played ArcTanGent in 2023.

Brutus say the appearance comes “exactly 10 years after our first show” at the festival, and that it will be a UK exclusive festival show. Russian Circles called the 2027 line-up “a true testament to the festival’s legacy of artistry and integrity”.

Also added are Faetooth, Future Of The Left (marking 20 years of ‘Curses’), SubRosa (back after splitting in 2016), Hippotraktor, Kong (back after splitting in 2011), A-Tota-So, Bloed, Cold Night For Alligators, Death Goals & Tunic, Earth Moves, Earthside, hubris., Ihlo, Lancing Hand, paper hats and Speedial.

Neurosis and Blood Incantation Already Confirmed as Headliners

The new names join main stage headliners Neurosis and Blood Incantation, announced earlier. Also already confirmed are The Wildhearts (playing a special progressive set), Slift, The Ocean, Messa, Conjurer, Holy Fawn, MØL, Psychonaut, Lowen, and Employed To Serve, who will mark ten years of ‘The Warmth of a Dying Sun’.

Organiser James Scarlett says ticket sales for 2027 are already “miles ahead of where they’ve EVER been at this time of year”, following the festival’s first ever sell-out this summer. He also named Future Of The Left and Kong as bands who made some of his “all-time favourite albums”.

ArcTanGent 2027 Tickets

Super Early Bird tickets have sold out. Early Bird tickets are on sale now at 20% off, while VIP and four-day tickets are said to be running low. Day tickets are also available. Get tickets here.

The organisers estimate the new site is around two hours’ drive from London, an hour and 25 minutes from Bristol and an hour from Birmingham. Read the full statement on the move.

“Running low” is the promoter’s phrase, of course – but after a sell-out year, nobody who wants a Wednesday wristband should be hanging about.

Is a new home in the Cotswolds the start of a bigger ArcTanGent, or will you miss the old site?
