Imminence Release Video For ‘False Light’

Swedish metalcore outfit Imminence have released a cinematic new music video for their latest single, “False Light.”

The track marks the band’s second new release in as many months and continues the next chapter of their career following their recent signing to Sumerian Records. It follows “The Sword That Never Bends,” which introduced fans to the band’s heavier, more expansive new era. 

Produced by Drew Fulk, “False Light” combines Imminence’s trademark mix of crushing heaviness, atmosphere and violin-led drama, while the video—directed by Pavel Trebukhin—pairs the band’s performance with a striking visual narrative. 

The release arrives after the success of the band’s 2024 album, The Black, which helped push Imminence further into the international spotlight and earned widespread praise from across the heavy music world. 

Imminence will take the new material on the road later this year with a major North American headline tour, supported by Dying Wish and Gaerea. The run begins in Worcester, Massachusetts, on November 13 and finishes in Montreal on December 13.
