The Funeral Portrait have released new song ‘My Future Prediction’, their first new music of 2026, ahead of a UK and European run supporting Black Veil Brides in January.
The Atlanta band have shared a lyric video for the track, which is out now via Better Noise Music. The official video follows next week.
Lee Jennings on Ignoring the Red Flags
Vocalist Lee Jennings says the song is about convincing yourself a relationship is perfect when every warning sign says otherwise.
“Sometimes we fall in love with the life we imagined more than the person standing in front of us,” he says.
The label pitches it as a mix of alternative, emo, post-hardcore and rock built around a chantable chorus.
100 Million Streams for Greetings From Suffocate City
The band started 2026 with Live From Suffocate City, following last year’s deluxe edition of Greetings From Suffocate City.
That album featured guest spots from Ice Nine Kills’ Spencer Charnas on ‘Suffocate City’ and Five Finger Death Punch’s Ivan Moody on ‘Holy Water’, and has now passed 100 million streams.
The Funeral Portrait UK Dates With Black Veil Brides
The band are currently on an arena tour with Three Days Grace in the US. In January they head to Ireland and the UK in support of Black Veil Brides:
