Orlando metalcore band concealer. have signed to Pure Noise Records, and the label is giving their debut album a second release.
concealer. have joined Pure Noise Records, who will re-release the Florida band’s debut album This Room Could Be Heaven. Pre-orders are open now.
“It All Feels Surreal”
In a joint statement, the band said the signing “all feels surreal”. They said that seeing fans stage-dive to songs written in their drummer’s apartment was already “a dream come true”.
The members admitted it took some time to settle in when Pure Noise came calling. They said there was some deliberation along the lines of “Are we really about to do this?”.
They called the album their most collaborative work to date and said it had brought them closer as friends. Looking ahead, they want to tour new places and release more music with a label behind them, describing themselves as “addicted to writing new music”.
US Dates With Static Dress
concealer. head out later this month to support Static Dress on five US dates:
- 20 November – Austin, TX – Mohawk Austin
- 21 November – Dallas, TX – South Side Music Hall
- 22 November – Houston, TX – White Oak Music Hall
- 24 November – Orlando, FL – The Abbey
- 25 November – Miami, FL – Lincoln’s Beard Brewing Co.
No re-release date has been given yet, and there is no word on whether the reissue will include any new material.
Re-releasing an album that is already out is a familiar way for labels to give a young band a bigger push without waiting for new songs. Fans who already own it may want to know what, if anything, is changing.
Have you heard This Room Could Be Heaven yet, and are concealer. the next metalcore band to watch?
