We Came As Romans Team Up With Make Them Suffer on ‘Dead Silent’ Ahead of ‘Circularity’ Release

We Came As Romans have brought in Make Them Suffer for new single ‘Dead Silent’, two days before their reworked 23-track album arrives.
We Came As Romans have released ‘Dead Silent’, a collaboration with Make Them Suffer, along with an official music video.
It is one of four new songs on All Is Beautiful… Because We’re Doomed: Circularity, an expanded version of the Michigan band’s 2025 album. It is out this Friday, 6 November, via SharpTone Records.
Dave Stephens on Working With Make Them Suffer
Vocalist Dave Stephens said the band had “wanted to collaborate with our friends in Make Them Suffer for a long time”.
He described the song as being about “breaking out of the same destructive patterns” and letting go of negativity. He added that it is “dark and heavy, but there’s a real sense of fun to it too”.
What’s on Circularity
The four new tracks are ‘When Everything Is Still’, ‘Dead Silent’, the previously released ‘Born From Nothing’ and ‘Speak To Exist’. They open the 23-track release.
According to the band, the new songs explore the afterlife between death and reincarnation. They are meant to bridge the original album’s closing track back to its opener, so the record works as a loop.
Six existing songs have also been reworked with guests: Currents, After The Burial, HEAVENSGATE, Rory Rodriguez of Dayseeker, Ladrones, Headwreck and Bury Tomorrow.
Rather than simply adding a guest verse, each collaborator was asked to reshape the song itself. Bury Tomorrow wrote an entirely new chorus for ‘b2tm’. Ladrones rerecorded ‘culture wound’ completely in Spanish, adding flamenco guitar.
The cynical view is that this is a deluxe edition with extra steps. In fairness, though, rebuilding six songs with other artists goes well beyond the usual bonus-track reissue.
North American Tour Dates
We Came As Romans are currently on the road in North America with Varials and Cane Hill, with dates running until 30 November in Knoxville, Tennessee. They are also booked for the Emo’s Not Dead Cruise from Miami to the Bahamas in January 2027.
No UK dates have been announced yet.
Is reworking a year-old album with guests a bold idea, or would you rather We Came As Romans had just made a new one?
